- Collect information on environmental management and resource efficiency systems and procedures
- Analyse and organise information from a range of sources to provide information, advice, tools and resources for improvement opportunities
- Measure and document current workplace resource usage to investigate improvement opportunities
- Analyse and document current workplace purchasing strategies to investigate opportunities for improvement
- Analyse and document current work processes for accessing information and data to assist in identifying areas for improvement
- Set targets for improvements
- Implement performance improvement strategies
- Apply methods to assist in achieving efficiency targets
- Apply continuous improvement strategies to own work area, and communicate ideas and possible solutions to team members and management
- Implement and integrate environmental and resource efficiency improvement plans for own work area with other operational activities
- Supervise and support team members to identify areas for improved practices and resource efficiency in work area as required
- Seek and act upon suggestions and ideas about environmental and resource efficiency management from stakeholders, as appropriate
